I’m a 66-year-old grandmother, quilter, writer, and bookkeeper who has spent decades helping people make sense of their money, their paperwork, and their lives. I’m a former teacher who never stopped teaching — I just changed classrooms. These days, my classroom is a microphone, a workbook, and a kitchen-table conversation with anyone who’s tired of feeling overwhelmed by bills and chaos.
I built AYM because I lived the mess myself. I know what it feels like to juggle too many envelopes, too many emergencies, too many “I’ll figure it out next month” moments. I also know the relief of finally creating a system that works — one that brings order, breathing room, and dignity back into everyday life.
I’m not here as a financial guru. I’m here as a woman who has raised a family, run a business, buried loved ones, survived hard seasons, and learned how to build stability one clear step at a time. My work — the book, the podcast, the exhibits, the app — is simply my way of handing you the machine that helped me reclaim my own life.
